Maestro Guitars Compilation CD Launch Party, 11 December 2008 @ Timbre @ Old School

Maestro Guitars officially launched its first ever Compilation CD on the 11th December 2008 at Timbre @ Old School. It was attended by the Maestro Ambassadors that took part in the project as well as friends and associates of the Maestro family. It was a great celebration with speeches by the people who made the project happened and a presentation of tokens of appreciation to our Ambassadors. There were also 2 fantastic performances by Jason Carter and Syltra Lee, 2 of our Maestro Ambassadors. The Launch Party also marks the partnersip with Cafe Diplo in their humanitarian projects, with Jason Carter as both our Maestro Ambassador and Cafe Diplo's 1st Peace Ambassador. Maestro Guitars Compilation CD Launch

After many months of hard work, our CD is finally done up and ready to go! We will be having our Launch Party on the 11th December 2008 where we will officially launch the album. There will be some performances by our Ambassadors and the press will be present as well to cover the event. The event also marks our strategic partnership with Cafe Diplo where we work closely with them on their humanitarian projects. Jason Carter, being our Maestro Ambassador, is their first Peace Ambassador as well. More information about Cafe Diplo at www.cafediplo.com.

Music China 2008

Maestro Guitars had once again attended Music China in Shanghai as an observer and buyer. We are very happy to be able to meet up with most of our suppliers who have come afar to exhibit as well as try out the products offered by most of our compeitiors.

We are very proud to re-affrim the superior quality of Maestro Guitars but our desire to create better guitars is undying and we will continue to strive for quality improvement as well as product enhancement in the coming 2009. Maestro Niibori Guitars

The well-respected Singapore Niibori Maestro, Mr Alex Abisheganaden, trying out the Maestro Niibori Bass at Maestro Concept store in Excelsior. We had specially constructed the Maestro Alto as well as Maestro Bass Niibori guitars at the request from Mr Abisheganaden and we are very pleased to know that Alex is very happy with our efforts.

"Warm, deep, sweet and very responsive. No difference from the current Japanese Basses we have in Singapore." were the comments on the Maestro Bass from Maestro Alex Abishenganaden.

The Thunder Tour!

Two of the guys from the Thunder Tour dropped by Maestro @ Esplanade on Friday before the show and one very lucky retail staff was given free tickets to watch the show! And the retail staff that paid to watch got autographs on a Maestro EB1. Big Shout Out to Jonathan for helping us out with that!

Music Korea 2008

Maestro Guitars represented Singapore in the just recent Music Korea held in Incheon, Korea on the 4th to 6th Sept 2008. We were honored to meet up with many Korean distributors, dealers as well as fellow guitar makers. Of course, amidst business, we do not forget about having fun and great food. News Update 22/08/08: Maestro Compilation CD

Maestro Guitars will be releasing its first-ever CD compilation comprising of various Maestro Ambassadors and local artistes, all of whom are passionate Maestro guitar players. Featuring over 15 original tracks covering many genres like pop, rock, instrumental, new age, soulful and classical, as well as being multilingual, Maestro hopes to bring out the best of every featured artiste in the album.

Some of the familiar names in this upcoming album include Syltra Lee (host of Singapore Arts Cafe Open Mic session), Andrew Yeo (leading Christian worship leader and song-writer from Integrity Music), Jason Carter (British instrumental guitarist and Maestro Ambassador) as well as collaborations with artistes from Life Records and recommendations by producer Jaybon. This project is headed by our Sales/Operations Manager Michael Choy and the supporting producer is our very own Maestro Ambassador Bai Yun from Sony Publishing.

Maestro Guitars has tentatively set the official launch of the release of the album around the end of September so do stay tuned on this page for more updates to come!

Carbon Fibre Rod Reinforcement

We have installed 2 Carbon Fibre Rods into the necks of all our Elite and Custom Series Guitars to reduce the chances of lateral warpage and stiffen our necks for better sustain and tone.

This technology is usually only found on boutique guitars above USD3000 and also used by repairman for strengthening the neck of the guitar.

To date, we are the 1st and only guitar maker to implement this technology on guitars of prices USD400 and up.
